Mission Statement
The purpose of the Agriculture Program is to provide students the opportunity to interact with skilled professionals that specialize in all areas of agriculture with a focus on animal and plant sciences in order to engage students. They will develop premier leadership and personal growth while preparing for college or a career through the FFA. Involving students in project and work based learning, providing them with the hands-on experience that makes learning more relevant. Students in the Agriculture Department participate in career exploration, compete in FFA Competitions, and participate in internships related to an agriculture field of their interest.

Chair: Julia Santos
Activities that promote student involvement and growth through agriculture-related experiences. Ex. News stories, career day, guest speakers, facility tours, and SAE's.
Growing Leaders - Healthy Lifestyle
Chair: Claritza Romero
Activities that promote the well-being of students mentally or physically, in achieving the positive evolution of the whole person. Ex. Personal image, recreation, and leisure activities.
Growing Leaders - Leadership
Chair: James Santos
Activities that help individual develop technical, human relations and decision-making skills. Ex. Conferences, public speaking, student leadership competitions, and member mentor program.
